Warranty Conditions

Autosensorberlin.com grants a dealer warranty of three years for the products it sells, in accordance with the conditions described here, calculated from the acquisition (the date of the purchase contract is decisive) of the product by the buyer. The dealer warranty begins when the goods arrive at the buyer’s location. The dealer warranty relates to the defect-free nature of the respective product, including functionality, material or production defects.
If defects within the meaning of § 434 BGB (German Civil Code) occur within this period, MAF Service GmbH will, at its own discretion, either replace the product or repair it using equivalent new or refurbished spare parts. It is not to be considered a defect of the type assumed here if the product does not comply with applicable national or local technical or safety requirements of a country that is not the country for which the product was originally designed and manufactured. In the case of legitimate warranty claims, the product will be returned freight-free and the buyer will be reimbursed for the cost of shipping, excluding costs for additional freight services such as island surcharges or cash on delivery. The warranty does not cover the reimbursement of any futile expenses for the installation or removal of auto parts. The warranty is excluded insofar as the defect is due to improper use, force majeure, or an accident. Furthermore, defects in wear parts that are due to normal wear and tear are not covered. The warranty entitlement expires if the product has been repaired or opened by a workshop or by the customer themselves. A warranty claim only exists if the seal is undamaged and complete.

If you would like to file a complaint about an item, please send us an email in advance with the invoice number, a copy of your vehicle registration document, and the workshop’s diagnostic report. Without these documents, your complaint cannot be processed. In addition to the statutory warranty, you receive this guarantee (dealer warranty) from MAF Service GmbH.
